Arts and Crafts Bazaar Historic Seventh Avenue District In Hendersonville, NC

Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The annual Seventh Avenue Arts and Crafts Bazaar will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Maple Street in front of the train depot in the Historic Seventh Avenue District. This 8th year of the district’s arts and crafts street fair, promises to exceed all previous years with 70 high level crafters and arts vendors featuring artistic creations, unique crafts, and even some antiques.  Excitement is guaranteed for everyone attending.

The Bazaar’s artisans include potters featuring functional designs, amazingly talented jewelry makers, and many of the other vendor booths will feature whimsical products produced by local craftsmen and women. You will be amazed at the variety of talented artists and crafts people that will be part of this year’s arts and crafts bazaar at Seventh Avenue.

An exciting variety of live entertainment begins on the depot plaza at 10:00 am and continues throughout the day adding to the delight of this year’s arts and crafts bazaar. You will be pleasantly serenaded as you meander along the street peering into the vendor booths.  The entertainment line-up is as follows:

10:00               Hendersonville Youth Choir
10:45               Pat’s School of Dance
12:00               Vintage Vinyl Band
1:45                 Jim Beaver School of Music
3:00                 Step Child Band

Food vendors will be on site to fill those empty tummies that are always part of a street festival. If you prefer to sit and enjoy a more relaxed eating experience, local restaurants, Daddy D Suber’s & The Underground Baking Company, will be operating on a regular schedule from 10:00 AM to closing. In addition plan to come inside the depot where the Apple Valley Model RR Club will be open the entire day and inviting folks to tour their facilities to marvel at the many intricate train displays.
