The community is invited to provide online feedback on draft design concepts for city-owned properties located at the intersection of Haywood Street and Page Avenue and the adjacent area of downtown.
Feedback will be collected via an online survey. This input opportunity is intended for those who could not make it to the public presentation and work session held on Feb. 17. The purpose of that session was to review the research and community input received by the project team up to that point, and to introduce three design concepts for public feedback. The slides from the presentation are available here. Two public drop-by sessions followed on Feb. 18, with about 175 people providing their comments over the two day period.
In short, it’s not too late to give your input! The city’s online survey is available through Sunday, March 15.
Please review the draft design concepts and answer the questions that follow. Your input will inform the final Conceptual Master Plan, expected to be presented to City Council later this spring.
The Conceptual Master Plan will build on the community’s vision to see the development of not just a building, and not just a park, but a mix of uses on this site. The Haywood and Page Vision Report documents that vision.
