Asheville FM and Asheville Affiliates birthday bash benefit, Sept. 13

103.3 Asheville FM is celebrating nine years of community radio! This year marks the first fundraising event partnership for 103.3 Asheville FM and Asheville Affiliates to “party with a purpose”. Vital funds will be raised through ticket sales, raffles and local sponsors, and all proceeds will support the addition of the station’s new live recording studio, network growth and to develop more music projects that will positively impact the community.

The “Nine Years in Your Ears” Benefit on Thursday September 13th from 6-9pm will take place at Ambrose West located at 312 Haywood Road in West Asheville. K.P. Whaley the station manager at 103.3 Asheville FM’s remarked “We are so fortunate to be chosen by Asheville Affiliates to celebrate 9 years of bringing community radio to our community. We are excited to party the night away with our community and the dedicated listeners who have supported our station and mission for all these years.”

The evening’s music, sponsored by Echo Mountain Recording, includes Asheville FM’s own – DJ Kutzu and DJ Devyn Marzoula, with headliner April B & The Cool. Delicious local cuisine donated by area restaurants, beer by Catawba Brewing and wine by Epiphany Wine Company as well as entertainment will be included in the ticket price. The incredibly diverse and exclusive raffle prizes, donated by a number of generous Asheville businesses, will bring more excitement to the party. Tickets available for purchase now for $25 or $30 at the door, and you may buy your raffle tickets in advance or at the celebration.
