Prestige is donating 100 percent of the winning bid for the Outback to Asheville Humane Society!

All guests will be treated to wine courtesy of Mutual Distributing and locally crafted beer provided by Highland Brewing Company and Oskar Blues Brewery. Local restaurants and chefs are sponsoring the array of delicious vegetarian hors d’oeuvres and desserts to be enjoyed throughout the evening. Dancers from Asheville Community Theatre will entertain guests while Sparrow and her Wingmen and other local musicians take the stage to perform live.

For those who want the red carpet treatment, V.I.P. tickets are available for purchase and these guests will be invited to attend a pre-gala reception from 5-6pm. During the reception, V.I.P. guests will have the first opportunity to bid on our fabulous auction packages, taste exquisite cuisine and try our signature drink “The French Kiss.” The V.I.P. experience includes a private bar where endless champagne will be served exclusively to these guests for the entire evening.

Taste of Compassion is Asheville Humane Society’s signature fundraising event and in our 13th year, we won’t disappoint,” says Carla Musgrove, Event Coordinator at Asheville Humane Society. “This year’s theme is ‘A Night at the Moulin Rouge’ and guests are guaranteed to enjoy a night of bidding on alluring auction items while savoring delicious vegetarian cuisine, fine wine and local beer. Our sponsors, guests and bidders help fund Asheville Humane Society’s lifesaving programs, giving every local animal the opportunity to live and thrive.”

This event is for human guests so be sure to leave your furry friends at home for the evening. Tickets will be available at the door for $90 and $140 for V.I.P., but if you purchase in advance, ticket prices are $75 and $125 for V.I.P.
