Asheville Music Hall and The One Stop welcome new ownership

Press release from Asheville Music Hall:

Asheville Music Hall and The One Stop, together, are a premiere mid-sized music venue located in the heart of Downtown Asheville with a long history of hosting great artists. This week, two local business entrepreneurs with a love of music and passion for Asheville purchased the venue. Paul Casey and Brian Good, both with decades of hospitality experience, have teamed up to grow the rich history of the popular landmark.

“We decided to purchase this amazing venue because we love music, food and drinks, and the staff of Asheville Music Hall. We feel that with our personal and professional experience we can make small changes and invest in some needed capital improvements to grow this business to complement the Asheville music scene” said Casey.

According to Good, “What makes this club special are the events that everyone knows like Tuesday Night Funk Jam, Free Dead Fridays, Comedy night, and all the great bands and DJs. We hope to bring back Bluegrass Brunch on the weekend and have some other great ideas to expand our unique offering. All the staff are amazing and are staying on board with excitement and support.”

Asheville Music Hall and The One Stop’s General Manager, Micah Wheat says “It has been an absolute honor from day one working at this venue – from the beginning with KP and her crew years ago to our culminated team success now. We have one the best unified teams here that have created original programming and brought some of the best talent in the country to Asheville. This town really has one of the best local scenes in any major music market. It’s unbelievable humbling to have worked with so many local artists and with the new ownership, I couldn’t be more excited to stay on and support the visions Paul and Brian have already begun to express and expertise they bring to the table. I absolutely love this town and the family we have created at Asheville Music Hall and The One Stop and will be relentlessly offering myself to continue to elevate the game here”.

Since opening in 2011, Asheville Music Hall is a premier mid-sized venue which has hosted everything from musical legends to up and coming artists. With a 350 capacity, Asheville Music Hall is an all-genre venue that provides an intimate live music experience for all music fans and offers quality production for artists, events and fans. The One Stop (located directly below Asheville Music Hall) is a smaller 200 capacity venue with an attached late night restaurant which currently hosts 4 nights of locally hosted residencies and brings Local, Regional and Nationally touring bands every Thursday-Saturday.

All upcoming shows and events will continue as planned for our supporters. You can learn more and see the schedule for upcoming shows and events at www.ashevillemusichall.com.
