Asheville Outlets hosts Patriots and Legends car show Nov. 10

Press release from Asheville Outlets:

The Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry’s (ABCCM) Patriots & Legends Car Show at Asheville Outlets is presented by Ingles, Blossman Gas and Paramount Kia. There is no fee for spectators.

Attendees can view hundreds of classic cars and NASCAR show cars, as well as enjoy a live Joe Lasher concert. Proceeds will help fund ABCCM’s transitional housing programs for formerly homeless male veterans at the Veterans Restoration Quarters and female veterans and their children, at Steadfast House in Buncombe County.

The car show is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Custom car show trophies will be awarded for Top Ten, Best in Show, Sponsors’ Choice and Veterans’ Choice. The Joe Lasher concert is from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The concert is free with a suggested contribution to ABCCM during the concert; all proceeds throughout the event benefit ABCCM’s services to veterans.

In addition to the cars and concert, the Marine Corp League will provide a color guard presentation, the Harley Owners Group will perform a drive-through parade of motorcycles covered in flags and patriotic decorations and the North Carolina National Guard will bring their thirty-foot climbing wall. Local food trucks will be onsite including Doc Brown’s BBQ, Deli Volv, Prime Time Eats and Bun Intended. American Legion Post 526 will host a 50-50 drawing, and there will be a silent auction.
