Press release from Asheville Police Department:
Asheville, NC (May 11, 2016): On May 10th at approximately 1:35 PM, the Asheville Police Department responded to 55 Nancy Street in West Asheville in regards to a report of a death. Officers arrived to find Jerry Darrell Langford, 58 years of age, deceased. Asheville Police Department detectives are working closely with the Office of the Medical Examiner to determine the specific circumstances surrounding Mr. Langford’s death. An autopsy is scheduled for the morning of Thursday, May 12th.
