UPDATED: Missing person Jean Skipper has been located

At 11:50 a.m. on May 17, the Asheville Police Department announced, “UPDATE: Jean Skipper has been safely located.”

Asheville, NC (May 17, 2018): The Asheville Police Department is requesting assistance to locate missing person, Jean Skipper. Jean was last seen on May 1, 2018 in downtown Asheville.

Skipper is described as a white female, approximately 5’3″ tall and weighing 200 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes. Skipper is known to frequent AHOPE Day Center (19 Ann Street, Asheville).

If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Jean Skipper they are encouraged to contact the Asheville Police Department at (828) 252-1110 or Crime Stoppers at (288) 255-5050.
