UPDATE: Asheville Police successfully locates Jeffrey Allen Johns, Jr.

Update from the Asheville Police Department Aug. 7, 9:53 a.m.: Jeffrey Allen Johns, Jr. has been safely located.

Press release from Asheville Police Department:

The Asheville Police Department (APD) is requesting assistance to locate missing person, Jeffrey Allen Johns, Jr. Johns’ last contact with his family was in the beginning of July. He was reported missing on July 28.

Johns is described as a white male, 35 years old, 5’11”, and weighs approximately 175 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Johns has multiple tattoos to include “JAJ” on his left arm, a skull on his right arm, a Pittsburgh Steelers emblem on his right hand, and “LICIA” on his neck.

If anyone has any information on the location of Jeffrey Allen Johns, Jr.  contact the Asheville Police Department at (828) 252-1110 or Asheville-Buncombe Crime Stoppers at (828) 255-5050, if they wish to remain anonymous
