UPDATED: APD takes Conrad Edward Nedd, Jr. into custody

UPDATE (December 12, 2019): Nedd has been taken into custody.

The Asheville Police Department is seeking assistance to locate Conrad Edward Nedd, Jr. Nedd has two open warrants for Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Assault on a Female following an incident that occurred on December 9. In addition, Nedd has three open warrants from previous incidents – Driving While Impaired, Misdemeanor Larceny, and Open Container Alcohol Violation. Anyone encountering Nedd should use caution and contact 9-1-1 immediately, as he is considered armed and dangerous.

At approximately 7 p.m. on Dec. 9 the Asheville Police Department responded to Outback Steakhouse (30 Tunnel Road) after reports of a man assaulting two employees. Witnesses reported that the suspect, Conrad Edward Nedd Jr., first confronted a female employee regarding a food order, grabbing her by the arm. The manager attempted to escort Nedd out of the building, and once outside, Nedd produced a knife and pointed it at the manager. The manager received a non-life threatening cut while attempting to escape and return to the building. Nedd fled the property prior to law enforcement arriving.

Nedd is described as an Indian male, 35 years of age, 5’7″ and approximately 220 pounds. He has a bald head and brown eyes. He has several tattoos on his face, neck, and arms.
