Asheville Pulmonary and Mission Hospital solidify relationship through professional services agreement

PRESS RELEASE: Asheville Pulmonary and Critical Care Associates (APCCA) and Mission Hospital have long worked in close partnership to provide high quality care and are now enhancing their existing relationship by entering into a professional services agreement effective Nov. 1.
“This is a natural evolution to an already excellent relationship.  APCCA is an incredibly high quality group and we are excited to partner with them to expand their team and to work even more closely to improve access and to elevate the level of care across all that we do together,” said Angie Fletcher, Vice President of Acute Medicine for Mission Hospital.
APCCA have served western North Carolina since 1979. Their board certified physicians provide a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for critical care patients, lung disease, breathing difficulty, persistent coughing, wheezing and sleep disorders.
“We are eager to further our exceptional care with this partnership. With this agreement, we will be able to continue to provide the most appropriate, evidence-based, treatment and to attract the best physicians to western North Carolina to continue that care into the next generation,” said Asheville Pulmonary spokesperson James McCarrick, MD.
