According to the city’s blog, the purpose of the presentation is to assist City Council in determining the Asheville’s official comments to NCDOT on the project. Additionally, Council will hear informal public comment on the I-26 Connector.

Additional information about the transportation department’s engagement with the NCDOT public process surrounding the I-26 Connector project, as well as links to NCDOT websites containing project documents, maps and video simulations of the proposed design alternatives can be found on the City of Asheville’s blog.
