Asheville City and Buncombe County schools see drop in drop outs

According to data released by the North Carolina Education Department, both Asheville City and Buncombe County School districts saw a drop in of drop outs last year.

This continues a state-wide trend which has seen rates drop in nearly all counties. Asheville City Schools drop-out rate was listed as 3.24% down from 4.6% last school year. Buncombe County Schools was listed as 3.5% down from 4.24% last year.
