Asheville Tea PAC endorses Ken Fortenberry (R) in 10th Disrict primary

The Asheville Tea PAC endorsed Republican Ken Fortenberry over GOP incumbent Rep. Patrick McHenry in the 10th District primary. Here’s the press release from the Fortenberry campaign:

Asheville Tea PAC Endorses Ken Fortenberry Candidate for North Carolina Congressional District 10

Hendersonville, NC, April 13, 2012: Ken Fortenberry, candidate for North Carolina Congressional District 10, has received the endorsement of Asheville Tea PAC.

Ken Fortenberry has demonstrated that he is committed to fiscal responsibility through adherence to Constitutional authority. Asheville Tea PAC has determined that Ken Fortenberry embraces our principles and can defend them: individual rights, limited government, fiscal responsibility and free markets.

Asheville Tea PAC is dedicated to bringing the people back into the election process by their participation to replace compromised incumbents with good men and women who commit to fiscal responsibility through Constitutional authority. We focus on finding principled candidates, vetting, endorsing, and campaigning to get them elected. We then hold them accountable. Asheville Tea PAC proudly endorses Ken Fortenberry for North Carolina Congressional District 10.

  1. Ken Fortenberry would violate the rights of certain individuals whom he deems to be inferior according to his religious beliefs.

    Because as many of us predicted, the ‘Tea Party’ movement quickly became a sheepdog to herd Libertarians and other principled former Republicans back into the fold.
