Asheville’s Travers Brothership tops ReverbNation charts amd heads to Full Sail studios

Travers Brothership, an alternative rock & soul big-band based in Asheville, NC, fresh off a national tour from Denver, CO to Outer Banks, NC, is gearing up to record their debut L.P. at the renowned Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.

Travers Brothership’s recent self-titled E.P. is currently #1 at ReverbNations’s Asheville, NC alternative rock chart and peaked in the top 30 on its national charts.

Showcasing and finishing first in a national ReverbNation competition, the band was awarded recording sessions at Full Sail University, one of the premier art, music and film schools in the world. The band will record at Full Sail studios in Winter Park, Florida in mid-February 2014.

The “eight man groove machine” was founded by brothers Kyle and Eric Travers, whose passion for playing and writing music started at age seven. Travers Brothership grew and bonded through a deep appreciation for blues, funk, jazz, intense jams and tight arrangements that evoke big band sounds of artists like James Brown, Galactic, The Allman Brothers, The Grateful Dead and Albert Collins. The soulful vibe of the multi-instrumental, multi-talented Brothership showcases their commitment to roots music and originality.

The Travers Brothership: Jacob Ables, Guitar; Ian McIsaac, Percussion and Keys; Jordan Miller, Bass Guitar; Kyle Travers, Vocals, Guitar, Slide Guitar and Keys; Eric Travers, Vocals and Drums; Jamie Beryl, Tenor Saxophone; Kyle Snuffer, Trombone; Alex Bradley, Trumpet.
