Author Erik Larson returns to Asheville, Feb. 28

Malaprop’s Bookstore/Café is pleased to partner with the Great Smokies Writing Program and UNC Asheville in bringing author Erik Larson back to Asheville. The #1 New York Times-bestselling author of The Devil in the White City and Dead Wake will discuss his new book, The Splendid and the Vile: A Saga of Churchill, Family, and Defiance During the Blitz, on Friday, February 28, at 6:30 p.m., in the Blue Ridge Room of UNCA’s Highsmith Student Union. Larson will be in conversation with Denise Kiernan, New York Times-bestselling author of The Last Castle and Girls of Atomic City. Each ticket to the event is $35.00, which includes admission, a place in the signing line, and a copy of The Splendid and the Vile.
