Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00PM

Mountain man and master of mind-chilling suspense novels Jeff Crawford brings his novel Pheramane to the only bookstore where you can throw a blanket over you and whoever you’ve grabbed onto while you listen to him read this tale of sinister swamp life.

Before launching his tour for his latest thriller, Through Black Velvet Eyes, Crawford is giving a special encore event for the edgy suspense novel Pheramane at Asheville’s best place for coffee, wine, good books and good friends.

The Pheramane Experience begins when the robed, hooded figure greets you at the entrance where Crawford will tell tales of this story set in the mean and murky Florida swamplands of the late 1800s.

There will be snacks, door prizes, and copies of Pheramane available for purchase. Make plans with friends to join in the experience!

Battery Park Book Exchange is located at 1 Page Ave, #101, Asheville, NC 28801, in the Grove Arcade. Their phone number is 828-252-0020.
