Bele Chere calls for childrens’ area non-profit sponsors

From the city of Asheville:

Asheville, NC – The City of Asheville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department is now accepting applications for local non-profit organizations to participate in the Children’s Area of the 2013 Bele Chere Festival being held July 26 through 28.

Selected organizations will develop and implement a children’s activity or service during the festival while gaining exposure to the large number of families visiting the festival’s children’s area. Participants may distribute information about their organization’s mission to increase visibility and develop relationships with attendees.

The application and additional information is available on the Festival’s partner website www.belecherefestival.org The deadline to apply is June 14.

Bele Chere is Asheville’s signature music and arts festival for 35 years. The event is produced by the City of Asheville in conjunction with the Bele Chere Board of Directors.
