Bellamy to visit Mt. Calvary Baptist Church

NC-10 CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATE TO VISIT MT. CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH

SHELBY, NC – On Wednesday, April 11, NC-10 Congressional candidate Terry Bellamy will be speaking at an event at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Cleveland County beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Bellamy is running for the Democratic nomination in the newly redrawn 10th Congressional District. The winner of the May 8th primary will face incumbent Republican Patrick McHenry in November’s general election.

Terry Bellamy is serving her second term as mayor of Asheville, NC. She is the first African-American and the youngest person elected mayor of the city. She is the Executive Director of The Arc of Buncombe County, serves on the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Land-of-Sky Regional Council. Bellamy was appointed to the 21st Century Transportation Committee, the Joint Legislative Committee on Housing and the North Carolina League of Municipalities Board of Directors.
