Black Mountain News: Locals give input on Future I 26

From Black Mountain News:

Weaverville native Samuel Tucker had a simple message for the state Department of Transportation when it comes to improvements to U.S. 19-23 — “Start it today.”

The N.C. DOT is planning a $184 million project that could include adding lanes to the freeway, replacing substandard bridges and repaving.

The work would be done along a 12-mile section of road known as Future I-26.
