Blue Ridge Humane Society hosts fundraiser in Hendersonville Sept. 7

The community is invited to the 9th Annual Wags to Riches benefit for the Blue Ridge Humane Society on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Hendersonville Country Club. The spectacular night is a celebration of the mission build a community that embraces the protection, compassionate care, and highest quality of life for animals.

The evening will feature a Mediterranean-inspired menu; unique silent auction collection with exciting trips, stunning jewelry, and local treats, gift certificates and tickets from local and regional businesses; live music from local singer-songwriter Ellen Trnka and Sound Extreme Entertainment; a special complementary cocktail curtesy of Tito’s Handmade Vodka in addition to complementary beer and wine; puppy kisses and visits from Adoption Center animals; and more for a fabulous night out celebrating the care and love for our companion animals.

The Blue Ridge Humane Society, Inc., is a 501(c)3 animal welfare organization started in 1950 dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of life for animals in Henderson County and our neighboring communities. BRHS cares for pets awaiting adoption at the Adoption Center; offers low-cost vaccine clinics, animal education programs, pet training classes, and youth education and projects; coordinates community pet food assistance, emergency vet assistance, and the Spay Neuter Incentive Program (SNIP), which is a collaboration with Henderson County, the City of Hendersonville, and the Henderson County Animal Services Center.
