Blue Ridge Roller Girls drop away game to Jacksonville, FLA but gain ranking in top ten

After losing by a heart-breaking 2 points to Jacksonville (147-145) on Saturday night, this weeks ratings by the independent website Flat Track Stats has our home-town skaters ranked as 9th in the South East. While not an official ranking from the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), the stats are followed closely in the roller derby world.

With Jacksonville falling to number 10, that means BRRG is rated higher than the team that beat them.

BRRG’s home opener is April 7th at the Western Carolina Ag Center with a double-header against the Appalachian Roller Girls from Boone and then against an all-star team from all around the Carolinas, the Carolina Hurticanes, See the website for more info.
