Brevard Music Center resumes free community concert series in October

Brevard Music Center (BMC), in association with Brevard College in Brevard, is pleased to announce the return of its popular and FREE Community Concert Series on Monday, October 1 at 12:30 PM at the Porter Center (Brevard College). The “First Mondays” chamber concert features soprano Laetitia Grimaldi and pianist Ammiel Bushakevitz in an inspiring program of works by Duparc, Canteloube, Liszt, Fauré, and other noted composers.

BMC’s free “First Mondays” concerts in Brevard continue through May 2019; the Music Center’s Hendersonville-based “Chamber Music Tuesdays” concerts, in association with the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra, resume in March, April, and May of 2019.

“After a record-breaking 2018 music festival, we are delighted to continue our tradition of offering free live music in the off-season to the communities and neighborhoods that support us throughout the summer,” said Brevard Music Center President & CEO Mark Weinstein. “I invite music-lovers of all ages to join us in welcoming two acclaimed classical musicians to Brevard for the launch of BMC’s 2018/2019 Community Concert Series!”
