Tony-nominated for his role as Porgy, opposite Audra McDonald in Broadway’s recent The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, Lewis has lent his rich baritone to other leading roles on Broadway including Billy Flynn in Chicago, King Triton in The Little Mermaid, and Javert in Les Misérables — both on Broadway and in the London 25th anniversary production, which was made into a PBS special.
