Press release:

Pisgah Brewing Company has been well known for their outdoor amphitheater, the Pisgah Brewing Outdoor Stage, which has operated behind the brewery since 2010. For their 8th concert season on the Outdoor Stage, Pisgah has planned another stellar season of shows that ramps back up starting Friday, June 16th with modern piano legend Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers. The event also features a partnership with Amplify Concerts, a non-profit organization utilizing concerts and events to raise funds for local charities. Pisgah Legal Services has been deemed the beneficiary for this event, helping less fortunate WNC natives with legal consultation and representation.

Bruce Hornsby has built one of the most diverse, collaborative and adventurous careers in contemporary music. Drawing from a vast wellspring of American musical traditions, the singer/pianist/composer/bandleader has created a large and accomplished body of work and employed a vast array of stylistic approaches. Throughout this period, Hornsby has maintained the integrity, virtuosity and artistic curiosity that have been hallmarks of his work from the start.

From his longtime performances and touring with his former band, The Range, to his extensive history with his current band, The Noisemakers, Bruce Hornsby has covered the gammit of live performance in many capacities. Beyond his own groups, Bruce has collaborated with such artist as Bob Dylan, Bonnie Rait, Don Henley, Ornette Coleman, Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, and of course spent time as keyboardist for The Grateful Dead which lead to his inclusion in the final Grateful Dead shows at Fare Thee Well in 2015, considered the largest concert event of the modern era.

Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers return to the Pisgah Brewing Outdoor Stage on Friday, June 16th with doors opening at 7pm. Forlorn Strangers join the bill, and tickets are available for $40 in advance, $45 at the door and a $70 Hopster VIP package which includes reserved seating, a guided brewery tour and tasting and more.
