Buncombe County in-person early voting begins Thursday, Oct. 20

Press release from Buncombe County:

North Carolina’s in-person early voting period begins Thursday, Oct. 20, and ends at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5. Buncombe County Election Services is sharing a few details to know before you go. See the attachment for dates, times, maps, and more, or visit buncombecounty.org/vote for more information.

Please note there is no early voting scheduled for Oct. 22-23. This year, voters will notice two additonal early voting locations, and a new location at Friendship Community Center. The Wesley Grant Southside Center is still undergoing a park expansion, so voters may see construction activity and equipment on the premises. Please take care at this location.

  • Fairview Library – 1 Taylor Road, Fairview 28730
  • Friendship Community Center – 142 Shiloh Road, Asheville 28803
  • Leicester Community Center – 2979 New Leicester Highway, Leicester 28748

    Remember voter does not have to vote in every race on the ballot, especially if you don’t know anything about the candidates or cannot vote for either candidate!
