Buxton Hall Barbecue celebrates anniversary with Indoor Pig Pickin’ lunch

PRESS RELEASE from Buxton Hall Barbecue:

ASHEVILLE (August, 18, 2017) – Prepare to party, Asheville. Buxton Hall is gearing up for a celebration two-years in the making to commemorate the day the iconic skating rink transformed into a can’t-miss barbecue joint.

The party officially starts on Tuesday, August 29 with boozy malted mudslide milkshakes – non-alcoholic versions also available – and piña colada slushies offered all day, all week long. On Wednesday, August 30, the real celebration kicks off as the Buxton team replaces their regular lunch service with an “Indoor Pig Pickin’” family-style lunch, for one day only. Available for $12 per person from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the anniversary-themed, prix-fixe menu will feature fan-favorite sides such as mac + cheese, collard greens and potato salad, drink specials, desserts from Buxton’s legendary pastry chef Ashley Capps and of course, great BBQ.

To celebrate the team’s hard-working staff, Buxton Hall will be closed for service on Monday, August 28.
