Campbell Adds To Growing Roster Of Patterson Backers In July 17th Republican Primary Runoff Election

MORGANTON, NC– Retired U.S. Army Colonel and Former Henderson County Republican Party Chairman Spence Campbell today announced his endorsement of Vance Patterson in the upcoming Republican primary election on July 17th. Campbell was among several candidates on the ballot in the initial primary election on May 8th and campaigned as a Washington outsider and independent voice for the people of Western North Carolina.

“I ran a campaign against ‘politics as usual’ in Washington, and I believe that Vance Patterson is the best choice in the runoff because he shares that commitment. Vance understands what is at stake, and as a successful entrepreneur he has real skin in the game,” said Campbell. “I trust Vance Patterson to do what’s right for me, my fellow veterans, the business owners that drive our economy, and all of the people of Western North Carolina. I’m putting my name out as a supporter, and I’ll be working to help Vance Patterson win this runoff on July 17th.”

In response, Patterson said, “I am honored to have Spence’s endorsement, and I admire him for his willingness to take a stand on the issues and fight for what he believes. We see eye to eye on a great many things, and it is encouraging to see patriots like Col. Campbell backing me in this campaign. With the leadership of folks like Spence Campbell, I believe we’ll be able to win this election and start bringing sound decision making to the halls of Congress.”

Vance Patterson is a candidate for North Carolina’s 11th congressional district in the July 17th Republican primary runoff. Patterson is an entrepreneur in Morganton, NC, and has started 16 companies throughout his career, including two that have been named in “INC. 500 fastest growing companies in America.”
