Carolina Day School celebrates two state championships

From the press release:

Achievements need to be celebrated and celebrate they did on the campus of Carolina Day School. The school community enjoyed music, ice cream, sports-highlights videos, and of course – the championship-winning teams.

With two NCISAA state championships earned this winter, there was much to be proud of:

The Carolina Day girls basketball team won their second state championship in a row – capping an impressive season with a 16 point victory in the finals against Carolina Friends School of Durham, NC.

The Carolina Day boys swim team won their first ever NCISAA state championship with a thrilling last event win over Arendell Parrot Academy of Kinston, NC, which gave the Wildcats a stunning victory and championship.

“The connection our students share is clearly evident – celebrations such as this create memories, strengthen community, and help us celebrate successes which are earned through hard work, commitment to team over self, and the successful balance of academics and play,” said Steve Henry, athletic director at Carolina Day.
