Celebrate National S’mores Day with the Girl Scouts on Aug. 10

The public is invited to join Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont on Friday, August 10 from 3-7 p.m. for a National S’mores Day Celebration.

During this drop-in, free event, girls and their families can enjoy fun activities, complete badge work, play games and of course, enjoy a s’more!

All four service centers and shops operated by GSCP2P will have activities happening. Locations include: Asheville Service Center, 31 College Place, Building C, Asheville; Gastonia Service Center, 156 S. South Street, Suite 201, Gastonia; Hickory Service Center, 208 Union Square NW, Suite 101, Hickory; and Triad Service Center, 8818 W. Market Street, Colfax.

Council staff will be on hand to help both girls and adults learn more about Girl Scouting and register for the upcoming membership year. Come learn how G.I.R.L.s (Go-Getters, Innovators, Risk-Takers, Leaders) lead the way both in Girl Scouting and in our communities.
