Charles George VA Medical Center to host its third annual ‘Saluting Our Veterans’ car and bike show

CHARLES GEORGE VA MEDICAL CENTER, Asheville – The Third Annual Saluting Our Veterans Open Car and Bike Show is scheduled for 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., tomorrow, at the Charles George VA Medical Center, 1100 Tunnel Rd., in Asheville. The show is free to the public.

The show will go on rain or shine. This sponsors of the show, the VA Employees Association (VAEA), is honoring Vietnam War Veterans. The show goes on rain or shine. Medical Center Director Cynthia Breyfogle will speak at 1:15 p.m. and awards for car and bike owners will be presented after her comments.

Proceeds of the show benefit the Charles George VA Medical Center Patient Recreational Therapy program. Car and bike owners registered for the show by paying $10 and donating an unwrapped toy that will be given to Toys for Tots.
