Cinco de Mayo at MG Road

For the second year in a row, we are very excited to be inviting the one and only Gustavo Báez, one of the original kitchen crew members of Chai Pani Asheville, and current prep chef at Chai Pani Decatur, to come and reign over the MG Road kitchen. Once again he will bless Asheville with one night of authentic homestyle Mexican cuisine as you would find in Gustavo’s small hometown of Mexico City. As any Chai Pani employee who has enjoyed a staff meal from Gustavo can attest, his food is the stuff of legend. Expect tacos, tortas, tequila, and revelry like no other.
