Circus event planned to raise money for Western Carolina National Alliance on Mental Illness

From the press release:

“THE GREATEST SHOW OF COURAGE” – CIRCUS/CARNIVAL/PARADE/FUNDRAISER to combat the stigma of mental illness will be held on Sunday, Sept. 23 from Noon – 4 pm at Roger McGuire Green and Reuter Terrace at Pack Square. The event will feature the Runaway Circus, music, wandering performers, artists, a silent auction, raffle, cakewalk, and games to benefit the Western Carolina National Alliance on Mental Illness education, support, and advocacy programs. The Parade is organized the same as a WALK with individuals and organizations forming their Parade teams and requesting donations to sponsor each Parader. Prizes for best costumes!
