Citizen-Times: Girl reportedly assaulted at Henderson deputy’s home

HENDERSONVILLE — The State Bureau of Investigation and the Sheriff’s Office are investigating reports that a high school girl was sexually assaulted at a Henderson County deputy’s home by football players.

The assault happened last weekend and involved members of the East Henderson High School football team, according to reports the Sheriff’s Office received Tuesday. The Sheriff’s Office and SBI are conducting interviews to determine how many players the alleged incident may have involved.

No arrests have been made, and no charges have been filed.
