Citizen-Times: Montford books closing at end of April

From the Asheville Citizen-Times:

ASHEVILLE — The owner of Montford Books has announced that the store at 31 Montford Ave. will close by the end of April.

In a post on Facebook, Kay Manley wrote about her decision.

“After much thinking and reflecting, talking and listening, I have come to a decision about Montford Books. The brick-and-mortar part of the business, at 31 Montford Ave., will close in April, while the online aspect of our bookselling will continue. This decision presents a mix of feelings (including sadness and loss) but the overwhelming one is that of gratitude. For over four years I have been able to fulfill a dream, and my heart is full of appreciation for that.
