City will hold informational meeting on municipal golf course management change

Full announcement from the city of Asheville:

ASHEVILLE – The City of Asheville staff and representatives from Pope Golf will host an informational meeting on Monday, September 17 at the Public Works Building located at 161 Charlotte Street in downtown Asheville. The meeting will run from 6 – 7:30 p.m.

An introduction will be given by Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Director Roderick Simmons after which the public will be invited to visit stations and speak to representatives concerning the transition of Municipal Golf Course management from the City of Asheville to Pope Golf.

The public is invited to drop-in any time between 6 – 7:30 p.m.
