CNG Regional Partnership to showcase new fleet vehicles and station upgrades

Here’s the press release from the city of Asheville’s Office of Sustainability:

Please join the City of Asheville, Mission Health and Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition for the celebration of new natural gas fleet vehicles at the newly expanded City of Asheville Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Fueling Station. A part of the Carolina Blue Skies and Green Jobs funded initiative, this partnership worked together to improve regional air quality, reduce fuel costs and stimulate our local economy.

WHO: Mayor Terry Bellamy, Ronald A. Paulus, M.D., President and CEO of Mission Health, and William Eaker from Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition, city officials and partnership staff

WHAT: Joint press event showcasing new CNG fleet vehicles and station upgrades

WHEN: Wednesday, June 27 at 10am

WHERE: 45 Mc Cormick Place, Asheville, NC

Notes: The joint press event will give the public an opportunity to see new CNG vehicles and station upgrades. Members of the CNG partnership will be on hand to answer questions about the grant program, vehicles and station. Parking is available across the street at the Mc Cormick Baseball Field lot.
