Comedian Cliff Cash performs in Asheville on Oct. 13 and 14

PRESS RELEASE FROM CLIFF CASH:

The Cash brothers are coming to Asheville for the 9th annual Literacy Council Dinner and silent auction Friday Oct 14 at The Renaissance Hotel Asheville.

The night before (Thursday Oct 13) Cliff Cash will be performing a new hour of comedy at The Altamont Theater on Church St. at 8PM. The material will focus on topics like racism, homophobia, house bill 2, the recession, poverty, homelessness and loss. Topics clearly full of levity.

Cash has performed a couple of times a year in Asheville most recently selling out the 200 seat Mill Room with his Sick of Stupid Comedy Tour – a progressive, issue driven southern comedy tour.

Cash was recently chosen for a NBC showcase in Nashville TN and has new bits airing on Comedy Central XM radio and Rawdog. He’s been featured on Laughs on FOX, Comedy Central’s UpNext and has won several comedy competitions from Almost Famous to Port City’s Top Comic.

Opening the show Oct 13 will be Grayson Morris who recently filmed a set for AXIS TV and opened for the wildly popular Louis CK. The show will be hosted by hilarious local comic Josiah Duckett.
