Community Foundation of Henderson County welcomes scholarship applications

Community Foundation of Henderson County announced they will award over $500,000 in new and renewable academic scholarships for the upcoming school year. Ninety-one new scholarships are available for 2021-2022. Scholarship applications opened on the Foundation’s website November 1. Graduating seniors, current college students, and returning adult/non-traditional students are all encouraged to apply. To learn more and access the online application, visit www.CFHCforever.org. All scholarship applications must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2021.

The wide range of available scholarships seek to support students with a variety of socio-economic backgrounds, achievements and higher education goals. Scholarship opportunities offer valuable assistance to area students pursuing a higher education degree and are made possible through generous donors.

More than $6 million in scholarships has been awarded since 1984 to more than 1,400 students through the Community Foundation’s scholarship program.
