Community wellness forum, May 27

On Wednesday, May 27, Foothills Holistic Alliance will host a Community Wellness Forum, answering questions about seeking complementary therapies in our own county, making lifestyle changes, and facing the challenges of finding new resources and creating habits that could lead to people feeling the best they can. Community partners will address the question: When was the last time you truly felt well?

The event will take place at the Foothills Higher Education Center, Room 163, 2128 South Sterling Street, Morganton, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Foothills Holistic Alliance describes holistic wellness as a balanced state; it is a person-centered approach to health, where treatment includes the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the physical symptoms of a disease.
