Diamond Brand hosts Tuesday, July 23, book-signing for Adkin’s new Blue Ridge Parkway guide

Press release from Diamond Brand Outdoors

Come on out to Diamond Brand Outdoors on Tuesday, July 23, for a signing of Leonard Adkins’ new book “Hiking and Traveling the Blue Ridge Parkway: The Only Guide You Will Ever Need, Including GPS, Detailed Maps, and More.” Adkins will give a short presentation and will sign books afterward.

This guidebook will give you a detailed description of every official trail along the Blue Ridge Parkway. You’ll find GPS coordinates for official Parkway trailheads, along with maps and photographs of what you’ll see along the way. Adkins notes each trail’s length, difficulty, points of interest, handicap accessibility, and natural features. Far more than a guide to the trails, this book also tells you what to expect at overlooks, as well as where to dine, sleep, and find a restroom, and suggests worthwhile side trips.

Stop by Tuesday, July 23, at 6 pm for this great event plus coupons for 20 percent off one item for attendees, and light bites from Blue Sky Cafe!
