Eblen Charities announces new mobile app

FROM EBLEN CHARITIES NEWSLETTER:

Does the world really need another app for the millions of smartphones that occupy our planet? Well, if you are talking about the new Eblen Charities App, the answer is “Yes.”

Last year, after a great number of designs, starts, stops, and layouts, Eblen debuted its new website, www.eblencharities.org, which opened up a new realm for information, announcements, events and an added way for those in need of assistance to contact the nonprofit. Now Eblen announces a mobile app that makes the invormation available for those on the go.

Designed by Eblen board member Jose Iberra of Applied Solutions, the new app displays a number of unique features that will bring current information as well as a way to contact us and make donations from iphone, Android, or any other smart phone (see below).

“We are as excited about the mobile app as we were last year when we launched our new website. It certainly is the next step for Eblen to be able to reach and get information to everyone who follows, supports, and is interested in our work for those in need in our community. Thanks to Jose for his vision, commitment, and talent in bringing this next phase of technology in expanding Eblen’s message and outreach,” states Eblen Charities Vice-Chair Dave White of A-B Tech.

The Eblen Mobile App brings together innovative features that are designed to bring the best information in the most user-friendly way possible. The ease of navigation will serve to bring Eblen’s outreach and message to a larger number of individuals and families interested in receiving help or joining the work of the Charities.

“The new mobile app will open new opportunities for us in serving our community and those who are be struggling through these difficult times,” states Bill Murdock, executive director of Eblen Charities. “This is something that we all have been looking forward to since we we un- veiled our website last year. We couldn’t be more pleased with the wonderful design and work of Jose and everyone involved, at Applied Solutions.”
