FEMA to relocate Disaster Recovery Center at Asheville Mall

Disaster Recovery Centers Change Location in Buncombe County Jan. 29

In partnership with the state and local government, FEMA will close the Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at the Asheville Mall in Buncombe County at 6 p.m. Jan. 29.

Two DRCs will open elsewhere in Buncombe County at 8 a.m. Jan. 29:

Fairview Public Library

1 Taylor Road

Fairview, NC 28730

Weaverville Town Hall

30 South Main Street

Weaverville, NC 28787

You can visit any open center; to find one near you, visit the DRC locator at www.fema.gov/drc. No appointment is needed. Hours at all locations are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday–Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
