Music on the Rock: A Tribute to Carole King and James Taylor, featuring Ryan Guerra and Jane Bunting, will be onstage at Flat Rock Playhouse Thursday, Aug. 6 to Sunday, Aug. 16.

Flat Rock Playhouse is proud to present the next concert in the Music on the Rock series will be Music on the Rock: A Tribute to Carole King and James Taylor. Initially announced to run for one week, this concert will now play for two weeks due to the overwhelming audience response and to satisfy overwhelming ticket demand.

Carole King and James Taylor first collaborated over forty years ago in Laurel Canyon, California with such hits as “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Fire and Rain,” “Sweet Baby James” and “You Can Close Your Eyes.” All of these hits and more will be presented in Music on the Rock: A Tribute to Carole King and James Taylor, featuring the music of two of the most prolific and inspiring singer/songwriters in all of musical history performed by Music on the Rock favorites Ryan Guerra and Jane Bunting.

Ryan Guerra recently appeared in Always…Patsy Cline. His time spent touring in the Carolinas led him to a relationship with Flat Rock Playhouse and has worked on the Music on the Rock tributes for Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, Kansas, The Music of The Beatles and many others. Jane Bunting is a returning Vagabond as well who has performed leading roles in the Flat Rock Playhouse productions of Evita, Les Miserables and many Music on the Rock shows.

Music on the Rock: A Tribute to Carole King and James Taylor is presented by Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown Series Sponsor Rug & Home.

TICKETS AND SCHEDULE

Music on the Rock: A Tribute to Carole King and James Taylor will run from August 6th – 16th at the Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown. Performances Thursday through Sunday, 8 PM. The Flat Rock Playhouse Downtown is located at 125 South Main Street in Hendersonville, NC.

    Thanks Miley! These are real blooms from a reubdd tree, so the opportunity has passed.We do have some beautiful floral arrangements in our studio that are nice year round. And we have workshops this summer to create your own that you might like! Come see us at Lowe Mill!
