Folkmoot hosts Indian themed dinner and dancing

Experience on March 11, the beauty and bounty of India when Folkmoot hosts a community dinner and dance presentation from the land of Buddha and exotic spices.

The dinner gets underway at 6 p.m. at the Folkmoot Friendship Center, 112 Virginia Avenue in Waynesville. Tickets are $5 for kids between 4 and 18 years old, $10 for adults and $30 for families. To reserve your spot please call 828-452-2997 or purchase tickets online at FolkmootUSA.org.

The evening will feature Meaghann Lynne of Waynesville Belly Dance, sharing and leading a Rajasthani Dance.  There will also be traditional Indian games and a history lesson, a henna station, Indian food and live music. Read more here.
