French Broad Chocolates story time release party

Press release from French Broad Chocolates:

WHAT:  Story Time: A French Broad Chocolates Release Party

French Broad Chocolates is excited to share our new chocolate bar line up with our community!  We want Asheville to be the first to taste our four new chocolates, and to see and feel our new storybook-inspired bar packaging.  Our new packaging seeks to tell the stories behind each of our chocolates, be it a special cacao partner, or a local collaborator.  We’re honored to share the fruits of their labor – and ours – with you.

The box itself is a labor of love, just like the chocolate it contains. Produced by our friends down the mountain at Catawba Paper Box, from 100% recycled paper, you can rest easy when it moves on.  The plant-based cellophane bag, and even the sticker enclosing the box, are compostable.

The event will comprise of a quick guided tour of our factory, followed by talks by our chocolate makers and partners. We’re proud to collaborate with our community, and excited to feature representatives from Riverbend Malthouse, Mountain Air Roasting, and Bulls Bay Salt at this event.  After a brief word from our friends, we’ll open the house for samples of the chocolates, pastries featuring our new chocolate and Bulls Bay Carolina Flake Salt, freshly brewed coffee from Mountain Air Roasting, and local craft beer made with Riverbend Malt.  Our partners and our chocolate makers will be around until 6:00 pm to continue the conversation.
