From B&B Tobacconists:

Asheville, NC – Sitting on a busy street just outside of downtown Asheville, NC is B&B Tobacconists “Western North Carolina’s original old-time tobacco shop.” On Friday July 19, 2013 the staff at B&B held an event fundraiser to benefit the North Carolina Premium Cigar Association (NCPCA) and raised $3500, which will be used to help protect the premium cigar industry in North Carolina.

With the participation of several premium cigar manufacturers including Rocky Patel, Alec Bradley, 262 Cigars, Altadis, Perdomo, Ashton and others, B&B Tobacconists is helping lead the way to protect the premium cigar industry in North Carolina. “Our state is fortunate not to be under any direct local threats right now, but David Barnes and the staff at B&B understand the value of being prepared” said Ben Anstead, president of the NCPCA.

Also present at the fundraiser were area representatives Kimber Bell, David Palm, Evan Carpenter and Ken Distl who assisted customers throughout the day and demonstrated the commitment of the companies they represent to protecting the premium cigar industry.

The North Carolina Premium Cigar Association is a non-profit advocacy corporation formed by a coalition of premium cigar retailers to promote reasonable regulation and taxation of premium tobacco products in North Carolina.
