Goodwill hosting major job fair on May 17

An upcoming job fair hosted by Goodwill Industries of North Carolina will include some of the largest employers in Asheville.

Event: Goodwill Job Fair
Date: Thursday, May 17 – 9 a.m.-Noon
Location: Goodwill Career Connections Center
1616 Patton Avenue, Asheville NC 28806

Employers scheduled to attend the fair include: The Omni Grove Park Inn, Biltmore, Mission Health, Ingles, Longhorn Steakhouse, Cracker Barrel, McDonald’s, Waffle House, Maxim Healthcare, Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites, Eliada Homes and the City of Asheville.

One-on-one interviews will be conducted on site. Job-seekers are asked to dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes. Goodwill’s Career Connections Center also offers free help with resume preparation, career counseling and other services, as well as computers for online job searching and printing.
