Group opposing Balfour Parkway in Hendersonville to meet April 21

Press release from Stop the Balfour Campaign:

Hendersonville, NC, April 18, 2018–

The STOP THE BALFOUR CAMPAIGN (STBC) will be conducting their second organizational meeting on Saturday, April 21 at 1 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room of Fletcher Library.  The grassroots campaign was started in a March 17 meeting at the same location.

Progress on activity from 11 separate organization teams will be given.  Cindy Lemon, Campaign Manager for the STBC, will lead the meeting and provide a call to future action.

Anyone interested in joining their campaign or hearing of our achievements is encouraged to attend.

The mission of the Stop the Balfour Campaign is to unite Henderson county communities against creation of an expressway that would destroy homes, businesses, churches and impact the quality of life of residents near and within the path of the proposed Balfour Parkway.  It is committed to working together and speaking with one voice to stop the needless road from laying waste to our neighborhoods, subdivisions and community.
