Grow with Me preschool learning cooperative to hold open house for interested families

From the press release:

(Asheville, N.C.) — Grow with Me Preschool Learning Cooperative will hold an open house event for interested families 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 2 in the school’s classroom at Groce United Methodist Church, 954 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC. Entrance to the classroom is via Governor’s View Road off Tunnel Road.

Grow with Me is a community of young children and parents, seeking to create a cooperative learning program that nurtures a respect for self, others and nature while providing a safe environment for children to stretch their imaginations and explore their interests.

The play-based, teacher-led program draws inspiration from Rudolph Steiner’s philosophy on education, following the values of Reverence, Repetition and Rhythm. The program meets 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and is open to ages 3-5.

Grow with Me offers a beautiful indoor space filled with natural toys, a large outdoor play and garden space, small class size and affordable tuition. Parents participate in the cooperative program through occasional classroom volunteer time and committee work.

The open house will give families an opportunity to meet the Grow with Me staff and experience the rhythm and activities used in the classroom. Interested families should RSVP to Janis Craft at growwithmecoop@gmail.com or Katy Estrada at 828-337-4710.
